Creative OS isn't another AI chatbot — it's an intelligent operating system for creative work, built for writers, filmmakers, and musicians who need an AI partner that remembers their project instead of forgetting it the moment a conversation ends. Script drafts, lyrics, and story notes are sensitive, unfinished material, so the entire pipeline — indexing, search, and rewriting — runs locally on the user's own machine rather than routing content through a third-party cloud service. It indexes Final Draft screenplays, PDFs, lyrics, notes, outlines, shot lists, and research documents through a local RAG pipeline built on ChromaDB and SQLite, then surfaces that context to Claude for semantic search, rewriting, and creative ideation inside an Electron/React desktop app.

Creative OS isn't another AI chatbot — it's an intelligent operating system for creative work, built for writers, filmmakers, and musicians who need an AI partner that remembers their project instead of forgetting it the moment a conversation ends. Script drafts, lyrics, and story notes are sensitive, unfinished material, so the entire pipeline — indexing, search, and rewriting — runs locally on the user's own machine rather than routing content through a third-party cloud service. It indexes Final Draft screenplays, PDFs, lyrics, notes, outlines, shot lists, and research documents through a local RAG pipeline built on ChromaDB and SQLite, then surfaces that context to Claude for semantic search, rewriting, and creative ideation inside an Electron/React desktop app.

Final Draft (.FDX) files get native support — scenes, dialogue, characters, action blocks, and transitions are parsed directly, so AI-assisted edits happen without breaking the original screenplay formatting. Multi-document semantic search lets Claude reason across scripts, notes, research, and lyrics simultaneously rather than one file at a time, combining information from multiple sources into a single, context-aware answer. AI-powered auto-tagging organizes a growing library into searchable collections by theme, genre, character, and topic, and an analysis dashboard gives creators visibility into indexed content, AI activity, and writing progress.

Writers, filmmakers, musicians, and other creators wanted AI assistance across screenplays, lyrics, and notes — for many, script drafts, lyrics, and story notes are sensitive material they don't want touching a third-party server before it's ready.
